We are looking for a Finance Administrator who shares our vision and values to accelerate the deployment of our next-generation waste-to-energy tech.
Salary: £20,000 – £27,000 net pay (£30,000 – £40,000 pro-rata)
Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays (pro-rata)

The role is suited to an experienced finance professional seeking work-life balance with purpose; it offers the perfect blend of familiar finance responsibilities and meaningful contribution, as you’ll partner directly with our Financial Controller to ensure smooth operations and see the impact on our growing organisation in real-time. Key Responsibilities:
- Process purchase orders through our purchasing system, including coding, authorisation, verification, VAT and value confirmation
- Match bills to payments across multiple payment channels (credit cards, payment runs)
- Assist in preparing regular payment runs and communicate with colleagues about outstanding items
- Manage the Finance and Invoices inboxes, serving as first point of contact for finance queries
- Handle customer and supplier communications
- Update financial systems and maintain accurate records
- Support the Financial Controller with additional administrative tasks as required
Skills and Traits:
- Proven experience in finance administration
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proficiency with accounting software, preferably QuickBooks
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Bonus Skills:

- Experience handling multiple currencies
- Experience preparing VAT returns
- Proficiency with Excel
- Experience of using one or more task management tools (MS Planner, Trello, Jira, ClickUp, Monday.com, etc.)
